- Pass-Alongs: Make decorating a group project. With a crayon, each child draws one facial feature. Keep passing the egg until the face is complete. When the artists are finished, dip the egg in colored dye. The crazy egg face is sure to crack everyone up.
- Swirls: Stir a spoonful of vegetable oil in your cup of dye. Swirl your egg into the mixture.
- Stripes: Wrap rubber bands of varying widths around your egg before you drop it into the dye.
