Eggs-traordinary Easter egg decorating
Give the Easter bunny something beautiful to hide with these Easter egg decorating ideas:
- Groovy Tie-Dyes: Tightly wrap your egg in a slightly dampened cotton cloth. With an eye dropper, put dots of different food colors on the cloth. After 5 minutes, unwrap the egg. Far out.
- Pass-Alongs: Make decorating a group project. With a crayon, each child draws one facial feature. Keep passing the egg until the face is complete. When the artists are finished, dip the egg in colored dye. The crazy egg face is sure to crack everyone up.
- Swirls: Stir a spoonful of vegetable oil in your cup of dye. Swirl your egg into the mixture.
- Stripes: Wrap rubber bands of varying widths around your egg before you drop it into the dye.
